Help [Solved] Making a favourites group from my contacts?

Go into your contacts list. At the bottom of the screen hit the second icon in from the left. It will come up with "Groups". You should already have a group for favourites in there as standard - scroll down if you can't see it straight away. Hit favourites. The next screen that comes up then has a button "add contact to group". Hit that. And then what comes up is a list of your existing contacts. Just choose which you want to add.

Even easier is to add the HTC People widget to one of your screens. Either style (full or half screen) will do. Then all you have to is hit the + button on that and choose who you want to add from your list of contacts. That automatically adds them to your favourites, and you have them easily accessable on the screen.

In Messages, tap the "head" icon to the right of the "To" field and you'll get a multi-choice list of contacts. Select those you want to send to, tap "Done" and write your msg. You can also set up custom groups if you send to the same people regularly, or simply enter a name into the "To:" field in Messages, select the contact, then repeat for any others.

all my contacts are showing twice.

In People, use Menu/View and deselect the contacts you wish to hide.

No, this works when you use "New message" in Messages. Instead of entering a name, tap the button to the right and your "All contacts" list opens. Select all those you wish to receive the message, select "Okay" and then compose and send the message. Any clearer?
