Root Will Chrome to Phone work for Eris with a 2.2 ROM?

As far as I recall, there isn't one. The Google apps are built-in to the base ROM.

Since he was asking about kaos froyo, the latest build of that ROM has Chrome to Phone built-in to the ROM. I think the last two builds, actually (V29 and V30).

Not to be a jerk, but he actually asked this:

KaosFroyo has no need for a separate flash of Google apps, and, as I said, the latest build has Chrome to Phone (and the latest updates to the Google apps, such as the gmail build which supports selection of text to copy to the clipboard) built in. (It also has the latest Voice Search, I believe.)
