Root Skyraider 2.5.2 720p recording causing power cycle?

I have an HTC Incredible rooted running skyraider 2.5.2 Vanilla and when i switch the camcorder to 720p and begin recording the phone freezes and power cycles? Common problem? Fix?

mine works fine! please post what radio your using Menu>settings>about phone>software information> and check what baseband it is... if it starts with a 1. then your need to flash the new radio http://androidforums.com/roms-incredible/148420-radio-2-15-00-07-28-radio.html

You need a newer radio than that....he even says that in his thread about his ROM.

You can use the unrevoked forever to get S-off and update the radio that way, or go through the process of unrooting your phone to install the OTA update, and then reroot it, and reinstall the ROM of your choice.
noob questions but

are there instructions somewhere of how to use unrevoked forever to update the radio? I have this same issue and dont wana unroot/go back to stock and have to reroot ect again.

Also what radio should we/I be using with the same version of skyraider mentioned above?

I feel like im getting contradicting answers in 2 threads.

So im rooted, running vanilla baseband 1.00.03.04.06
kernel 2.6.32.15-g5e1ad8b

All i want to do is update the radio so I can use 720hd recording.
I have urev3 dl'ed and ive followed these instructions as well
public:forever [RootWiki]

So since ive followed those, does that now mean I have s-off? If so, how woul i "look" or know on my phone that its worked. I just dont want to brick. Furthermore, if ive done the correct thing, do i follow the steps above with DL'ing this radio in the thread, putting it on my root, and using hboot to install a zip from the sd card, then select that? Also, how do you format your sdcard in fat32? And in doing so do you lose everything on it? Im sorry im a noob a bit, i just dont want to brick. Thanks in advance for your help

To check to see if the S-Off install worked just boot the phone into bootloader (volume down and press power) and read the top line of text. Mine says Incredible XC Ship S-Off. Thats how you know it worked.

Mine says the same. So now I can just download this zip for the radio, put it in my sd card root, and install the zip and I should be working fine with 720 recording with no chance of brick right?
