I posted this earlier and my thread magically disappeared. I usually use gmail for all my mail, but I wanted to add my optimum mail. So I set everything up and retrieved my optimum mail, but when I try to scroll around messages, it gets extremely unresponsive. I can open the message and scroll vertically pretty easily, but when I try to go left and right, it's horribly unresponsive. Has anyone else noticed this? I need to know because I'm rapidly approaching 30 days on my X and want to swap it quick if something is wrong.

if you dont find an answer. try a hard reset. when there is a software issue, always try a hard reset before trying to return it.

I may have to do that. What's a good program to back up my programs and such? It's strange because the browser doesn't have that horizontal lag, nor does gmail. I've had minor concerns with the phone with regards to it's touch screen. The ones I've had are below and maybe others can comment if they've had them.

1. When doing a google image search, I scroll through the pics and it will select a pic on its own a lot. I've pressed harder to make sure I wasn't tapping by accident...but it still happens. The image where I remove my finger will be selected.

2. When using the keyboard, sometimes when pressing a letter, the screen will not have feedback. It seems completely random. Also, sometimes I will have feedback, but no letter shows up.

3. The email issue listed above.

Have you done a search?

More than likely your thread probably did not just "magically disappear"....it was probably moved to a more appropriate sub forum.
I did...it's gone, unless I'm missing something.
The site had, "maintenance," (I think they had a serious database error and had to load from a backup) and numerous posts, edits, etc. were erased. Even a good three or four postings that were batch-deleted were back, and the moderator's post commenting on the matter was no longer there.
