Screen Protectors

I am waiting for my scratchproof clear Skinomi to arrive, I love the design of the phone and I don't want to bulk it up and hide it's sleekness. I bought cheep $10 screen covers and hate them, they fingerprint like crazy and have scratches in them, they are smooth as silk for touchscreen but the fingerprints and smudges are making me nuts and I am not OCD. I didn't go with the Zagg because so many complained about the stickiness. I chose Skinomi, you get two clear skins for the device and two for the screen and they are guaranteed for life. Found on Amazon, should be here in a day or two. Has anyone used these?

they have steinheil crystal clear now. i would never use anything else.

I have the Anti-Fingerprint one's for my iphone 3G and it is very good but it is definitely a little hazy. The Captivates screen is so good that I will get a clear one for it. I'd like to know if the Steinheil Crystal Clear(2 for $14 + $3 ship) is THAT much better that the AT&T's(3 for $10).

I just received my AT&T protectors today, and after about a half hour of frustration they're going back. No instructions, applying was a pain, never managed to get them on without bubbles, the stickers on them leave a gummy residue, and after I went through all 3 and the results still looked like crap, I had enough.

I got Skinomi full body protectors and installed them today, the phone looks even better. Applying them was a real pain but worth it. Lifetime replacements, they are scratch proof, the screen looks amazing and to bubbles at all. They also have screen protectors only, no haze at all and they aren't sticky either. I am a perfectionist so I spent a few hours applying them, I made sure everything lined up perfectly with holes and buttons. I gighly recommend these.

The stickers are on the film that protect the front and back of the screen protector. They are labeled front and back so you know which side is which on the screen protector. The actual screen protector is in between the two films. It sounds like you ended up putting the peel off film on your phone, especially since you mention bubbles and sticker residue. I put the film instead of the screen protector on my phone until I realized 10 minutes later how stupid I was. The ATT protectors are very nice once you put it on correctly.
