I'm having a problem with the launcherpro + calendar widget. When I add an event by selecting a day in the future, it opens an agenda but the start/end date is always the current date.

Anybody else with a DX have this problem? Am I doing something wrong? Or is this a known issue that will be fixed in the future? I checked the LP forum and didn't see this issue

With mine (the paid version of Launcher Pro using the LP calendar widget) - it just opens the stock calendar "create an event" screen. Once you choose what calendar to add the event to you put the "what" and "who" in the fields - then you can just press the start and end date boxes and it pops open to change them to whatever you want etc.

The keyboard does open and sort of covers them up a bit but you can scroll down or close the keyboard to show several additional options.

Other than that I don't think I can be of much more help.

Sparky I know what you are saying. With my pure grid calandar widget when i add an event for a date in the future by pressing the date on the calandar it opens the add event screen, and automatically sets the start and end date to the date i pressed. in the launcher pro calandar you have to manually select the date that you want to add the event to. it sucks cause i like the look of the launcher pro calandar, and the way you can scroll side to side from calandar to agenda. but adding events is much easier with the pure grid calandar..

Jimmy, that is exactly what I'm talking about. The calendar is part of the reason I bought LP+, so I'm not sure I want to buy another calendar yet. I hope that it get fixed in a future upgrade.

Try Jorte...it's free and you can resize it using LPP. Touch the calendar widget (and you can display a number of things in istead...tasks, agenda, etc) it opens a full screen calendar. Choose a date and it gives you the choice to create a new event for that date and uses that date as the start/end date.
