android 2.2 internet problem?

When I manually updated my motorola droid to android 2.2 (non-root), I was no longer able to browse the internet without wifi. I've tried the default browser and skyfire. It doesn't even attempt to load the page with 3G only. I didn't have any problems with android 2.1. I know the 3G works fine because I can send emails and texts just fine.

Is anyone else having this problem??

I have the opposite problem. I manually updated (nonroot) to droid 2.2 on my moto droid. Now my wifi is not working and the only way I can get on the internet is with 3G... I want my wifi back! Any suggestions?

Same here. I've talked to V level 2 techs and M level 2 techs. No luck. I'm on my second replacement phone with no luck.

One trick that works for me is setting a manual IP. It doesn't solve the problem and doesn't make it possible to connect when you travel somewhere, but it's something.
