Just found this deal. Hope it's not already posted!

Verizon Batteries - 30% off - DROID X BATTERY - Can Combine with Discounts
I was just able to order the extended battery for the Droid X at verizonwireless.com for approximately 50% off.

The extended battery was priced at $49.99. Corporate discount (25% for anyone who has a corporate plan, or gets an employee discount with Verizon...most companies) brought that down to $37.49. Enter coupon code BAT30 for 30% off the battery brings it down to $26.24 plus tax.

BAT30 - Gets 30% off the battery. I don't know what batteries this applies to. In the past it has only been Droid batteries but many have got it to work on others.

FREEOVERNT - Free overnight shipping.

If you don't get a corporate discount, you can still get the 30% off and free overnight making the cost around $35 for the Droid X extended battery.

EDIT:
Pics of ext battery:

I've always had trouble combining the two discounts before...can anyone lay out the process to get both discounts before committing to buy(I get 25% thru my company)?

Sweet deal, thanks to the OP for posting, no matter where he/she got the info.:D

mahers, I logged into my account on VZW's website. Got to the battery and added it to my order, which will reflect the company discount in your cart ($49.99 - 25% = $37.49) then below that there is a box to enter your promo code "BAT30" (-$11.25). Apply it and your total should be $26.24 before tax. Then you should be able to add the shipping code to get free overnight shipping too.

I forgot to do the overnight shipping, so I got 2 day...oh well.
With all discounts and tax, my extended battery will be here on Thursday for the grand total of $28.74.
Excellent deal.

Thanks for that, BUT, my issue is that the only way for my corp discount to appear is for me to send them my work email, they send me an email back with a special link that leads to a list of stuff I can use with my discount. When I go to batteries, there is no space for a promo/discount code. I don't know why my regular login doesn't auto-reflect the discount like most people, but that's where my hangup is. Maybe if I call CS, they can give me both. I actually tried this bat30 code a week or two ago, as it's been around for a while now, but it wasn't working then. I guess they resurrected it, thankfully! I may wait until Overstock gets the std batteries back for $13 and just have two of those. We'll see.

who pays your bill? you or your company? can you not get on at verizonwireless . com and sign into "my verizon"?

I get the same as you when I try to log on and buy something from my corp verizon website (no extra discount box to speak of), but when I log into my verizon at verizonwireless . com...it works.

Have you tried it from your phone?

How big, in mAh, is the extended battery? Is it 1930 or something?

Also, I am able to get the battery for $22.74. :) This is awesome. I'm glad you posted this! :D

1840 mAh. Just ordered mine! :) My 1540 mAh battery was actually getting good times. It's at 30% now after being off the charger for 15 hrs! (Didn't use it very much today). But the extended battery should make this a beast. Normally, they make them huge and bulky but a 1mm difference isn't noticeable at all, so it seems worth it.

Edit: There seems to be some uncertainty if it's 1840 or 1930. The website link explicitly says 1840. According to somebody on another website, here is what's listed on the batteries.

Original Droid X is 1500/1540 mAh
Extended Droid X is 1800/1930 mAh

Bought my batttery now. Been waiting for the Seidio 3500 mah battery for a month now, but since it is nowhere in sight and i have a vacation in a week and need long battery life, having a spare will have to do. Got the discount off the battery for being an employee, got the 30% battery discount, and then used the $25 gift card i got for my wife's Incredible being so late to ship, that it only cost me $2.88 in the end. That works out well. :D Much cheaper then i was expecting to pay. :D

Ha! I wish they would pay for it! I pay myself, as it's my personal phone, but logging into myverizon doesn't reveal the discount for some reason. The only time I see it is when I use the link they email me. I will try via the phone or call CS.

The extended Motorola battery is 1880mAh...it is printed directly on the battery.

Odd, they must have the discounts set up differently depending on the companies they offer them to.

Guys, which website do you use to order it? I spent 2 days trying to order it directly from VerizonWireless site, login under my name, see corporate discount, than enter coupon BAT30 and get an error. I just called them directly and they are not aware of any coupon codes and were not able to apply it through their system over the phone. Please, advice!!!!
