android 2.0 for hero

Well, then it wouldn't be a Hero then now would it?

Sense UI is not the issue with the phone... As a matter of fact, if I just wanted any ol' phone, I could have bought any one of 20 different phones. I went for the phone that IS different and it is all because of "SENSE"... lolz...

So the Hero without Sense would be just any ol' phone...

Oh, BTW (for Dreamliner), you can turn the SENSE UI "OFF" if it is the source of your phone displeasure... look here in the forums for the instructions on how to. Just a little FYI, hehe...

Regards

(Perfectly happy with my Hero and 2.0 or not, doesn't make a difference!)

I agree! I would rather wait for 2.0 to be made compatible with Sense. Until then 1.5 with Sense is just fine with me.

Maybe I could share your enthusiasm if I could get my phone to recognize the Blaupunkt Bluetooth enabled stereo in my car as a hands-free device. According to two of the largest warranty repair companies in America, the problem is a defect in Android 1.5 which versions 1.6 and later don't have.

Otherwise I agree with you.
