Duplicate/Blank messages (Chomp)

Hi

Every time i receive a text in Chomp, i also get a notification for a blank message.

Has anybody else had this problem?

Also, just sent a friend a text, and they received it 3 times... i only sent it once... thinking of ditching chomp...

Anyone else had similar problems?

go to your stock message app, then

Menu > Settings > uncheck 'Received notification'

You should now get only 1 notification from Chomp. Also, uncheck any other notifications on the list that you don't want.

I have this problem too - most messages I send are received just once, but some are received a few times. Chomp know about it and issued the 4.6 update this week that addressed some of the issues (mainly caused by texting in poor signal areas). It's improved, but I still think there is a problem and I've emailed the developer to let them know. I'm sticking with Chomp though, I think it's a really great app even with a few glitches.
