Am I going crazy?

Yes, I know the obvious answer.

I just recently noticed when I tap an app for one of my widgets/apps that it will illuminate with a green or orange box around the icon just so briefly before going into the program. I do not recall the phone doing this before and find it kind of annoying and giving the phone kind of a buggy feeling.

Am I crazy in that it was not doing this before and now is i.e. Has anyone else noticed this? Please tell me how to stop it - though my guess is I am stuck with it.

Nope it does that with mine to. I noticed it when I was playing a game, and all the selections I made had an orange border around it.

Are you using Launcher Pro? I think that has a orange glow effect option included with it...
