Help Galaxo kernel on stock II5?

Hello!

I'm wondering if it's possible use the Galaxo kernel (with it's swap support and stuff) with the stock II5 firmware?

How would I go about doing it? Replacing /boot and copying the kernel modules? Is is incredibly complicated our is it doable?

Thanks!
i dont quite get you
its based on the ii5 firmware and v1.0 came in 2 flavours, hero and normal
the normal one is like the stock ii5 but with all the nice bits about galaxo
galaxhero is the fancy graphics one

Yeah it is almost as simple as that, BUT the init.rc is stored in the boot partition, and the galaxo one loads some extra/other stuff. So if u update with the galaxo kernel it may not work properly.

I would suggest you compare the two init.rc files and see if it looks workable. Or make your own boot.img using the original init.rc and modifying the mounts (we use no atime to speed up the system)

You could also ask drakaz to build u a stock kernel update. Thats what i've been using since we created this custom kernel :)
