Help Launcherpro dock icons "Help"

Every time I change my dock icons in launcherpro the they change back to stock. ! Am I missing a way to save the dock. So I bought the plus and they still change back to stock.

Droid X 2.1 plus update
Home switcher because launcherpro plus won't start.

found a solution in the forum worked for me

"All you have to do is long press each icon thats messing up and replace it with the "Blank" option (no shortcut, no icon). After you do this THEN you can apply whatever you would like and it should stick. Thanks to the op for this (cant remember who it was)."
so press the button long, change it to blank.
after that, change it to the function you want, change the icon thats it^^

I've tried doing this so many times yet it still doesn't work for me! My icon next to the main apps button is always blank. But I can still access it, if I put in a icon and turn the phone to landscape mode it disappears right away...Anyone else have this issue?

Hard press the icon > change shortcut > X blank (select blank). Then re-input the shortcut and icon that you want (hard press the icon in the dock > change shortcut > select your shortcut > select your icon. Hope this helps.
