Hey guys, I just moved to college in Pennsylvania on Saturday. Before that, at home in NJ, I was getting up to 29 hours of battery life. Ever since I moved in here, my battery life has been horrible by comparison, probably around 10-11 hours, and I haven't changed anything about how I'm using the phone? I've noticed 3G here is kind of in and out, could that have something to do with it? any ideas?

Signal moves around, based on your location and the towers. Your phone is actually constantly looking for improved signal. If it's in and out 3g then its very likely your batt is dying do to that, or atleast in part. You might go to settings, phone info, battery usage (battery status) whatever its called for your phone and look and see where the batt is dying from. signal is usually under android system.

hmm doesn't look like android system is draining it but i don't know what else on here could be the signal... thanks for the info though. i guess this partly explains why some people get such bad battery life and some don't.
