Launcher pro problem

Hi all and I'm having a big problem with launcher pro on my samsung galaxy S. What happens is that when I long press any shortcut on the dock and click on change shortcut, all it does is launches the thing. For example If I choise settings as my shortcut all it will do do launch settings and when I go back to launcher pro, the shortcut hasn't changed. The only ones u can change to are shortcuts supplied by launcher pro I.e. app drawer and homescreens and so on. PLEASE HELP!!!!!! its drving me nuts!

Try restarting your phone or uninstalling and reinstalling... I havent had this problem at all

I think you're doing it wrong.

To add shortcuts go to..

1) Long press icon

2) Change shortcut

3) then go to applications

4) then choose the apps shortcut.


Edit: Dont use the fist set of shortcuts for general apps. Only for stuff like email, drawer, messages. Or, shortcut add-ons like the Folder organizer app.

That's the part I went wrong. I didn;'t go to applications. Thx
