Touchdown. I suffered with the native app for a month before I gave in and bought TD, which violates my belief that I shouldn't have had to pay for what Samsung should've provided for free. But life is too short, and TD is great. I'd highly recommend for any Captivate business user stuck to Exchange email.

They do have a 30 day trial. They should get have the trial bundled on Samsungs rather than the ATT craptivate apps that do nothing for you.

TD is great after you use a speedhack, otherwise it is VERY slow (interface wise, opening emails, etc).

It is not Samsung's fault, but more so with Google for not providing a full fledged exchange compatible OS. Even 2.2 does not work with my Corporate Exchange, so I'm sticking with touchdown.

I wish it had a better looking interface, because it is BUTT UGLY.

I wish Samsung DID provide free touchdown keys like Motorola is with the Droid X

Emails open fast for me. I'm not sure if the email is being dumped locally or it has to do with the backend your web server or cell network traffic. I just don't see the slow folks speak of. The only thing that takes a bit of pause is when I send mail. If I get an email at my desktop I can blink my eyes twice and it will pop into my android.

What problems are you all having with the native mail client and Exchange? Mine seems to work fine. We're running Exchange 2007.

Built in support does not support a lot of security policies that a lot of corporations require. Therefore, it won't sync anything. Touchdown does support it.

Plus side is that I don't have to enter a damn unlock code everytime I unlock my phone, only when I go into Touchdown.
