Prerequisites-
1. You have to be stock with no themes
2.If you have bootstrap recovery you need to either update it in the market or follow the directions later on to still get the update to pass
3.If you want to keep root then you must move su in /system/bin to xbin
How-to in adb
If you update your bootstrap recovery then put this file on your sdcard and install it
http://bit.ly/9FK8h1
If you don't have the updated version of bootstrap then you can either flash an sbf or delete the logwrapper
With an sbf
-Flash the sbf
-re-root with your method of choice, I used universal androot http://androidforums.com/all-things-root-droid-x/151214-app-universalandroot-1-click-root.html
-In adb run
-boot into recovery
-apply update.zip
Deleting the logwrapper
You can also do it with root explorer
Find logwrapper and delete it
Then find logwrapper.bin and rename it to logwrapper
Then you should be able to boot into recovery and install the update without flashing the sbf
update.zip
Rsd lite if anyone needs it
