I would love this too. I had an eris and took a seagate freeagent external hd desktop cradle and did a little work and made a desktop charger for the eris.

But eris used the mini usb...

Any kind of desktop cradle that is out there or I could hack apart with the same charging port?

The one they are shipping next week will obviously work because it's made for the EVO. Be kinda dumb for them to manufacture and sell an EVO DESKTOP CRADLE and not have it work on the EVO. Duhhhhhhh!

I ordered this dock and I returned it the same day I got it.
It only has 1 usb connection. So It Does NOT charge and sync at the same time. You still have to choose disk drive or charge only.
And because it has no ac power cord, it will not charge the phone if your computer is off.

I just bought this one off ebay for $30 and so far it works great. It comes with an AC power adapter and the cable for syncing to the computer check it out. Also it has a spot in the back of it that you can charge an extra battery in too.

Yeah I've looked at those. But what I want is something that has both usb and a separate ac power. That way I can charge my phone at night without my computer having to be on AND I don't have to keep switching the cable between ac and the usb on my computer to sync it or access the sd card from my computer.

One dock both uses, WITHOUT unplugging and plugging in frigin cables under my desk.
But I guess that's too much to ask for.

No, i have a body glove hard case and th ephone does not fit in it with the body glove on. I bought a TPU case so, hopefully it will fit or at least the TPU case will be much easier to get on and off.
