Waiting like everyone else.

Ello!

Just switched from T-Mobile, to Verizon to pick up the Droid X. Originally I was going to be the only one switching my plan, but everyone else decided to as well. Needless to say they all walked away with new phones, but I have to wait for a week or two until I get my Droid X.

A little nervous since this will be my first smart phone, but hopefully I can get it looking like some of the ones in the "show me your screens" thread over at the droid x forums.

I have the DX bro. Let me know if there's any help I can give or any questions I can answer. I love the phone. I have it rooted and have sense ui-like apps on it. It runs great and smooth.

I am a little afraid to root my phone. I'm ok with computers, but I can't doing anything crazy. Ugh September 7th can't get here fast enough. To make matters worse even thought I have my plan with verizon I am still with Tmobile so I cant register on Verizon to see the status of my order!

2.2 Froyo will likely be out by Sept 9th anyway, so you won't have to worry about rooting as much.
