Help Phone got a bit stuck during a phone call, had to pull battery

I made a phone call, got voice mail, and tried to hang up. Before I could hang up, the person called me back, so I talked to that person.

After the person hung up, I saw that the first call I made was on "hold", so I switched to it, and tried to hang up. But the phone would not hang up. Noting I did would end the phone call. I could use the dial pad, I could go to the home screen, but the phone call would not end.

I held the "end" button down and nothing happened, and I couldn't get out of the phone call.

So I finally popped the battery cover, and pulled the battery to reset the phone.

Very strange, hope it doesn't happen again. But overall minor annoyance and not a big dea.

I'll have to keep an eye out for this one. Maybe I'll try setting up the scenario to see if it's a Moment/Android issue. Hopefully it was just a ultra rare occurrence. Stuff like this was a regular "feature" with my old WinMo phones. Ether the phone wouldn't hang up or pick up or bt would disconnect and only a soft reset would alleviate the issue (fixing it required dumping WinMo).

Has anyone seen an issue where you dial a phone number and the phone just freezes with the contacts name? like the screen before it "connects"? it happens to me all the time and haven't seen anyone mention it yet? People on the the receiving end say it dials ok and connects but i'm not there. Cant close the phone or anything, battery out reboot is the only way to fix it.

saw it before and after upgrade.

Yep, I had this exact issue before, about 2 or 3 times now since I've had the phone. I haven't pulled the battery yet, just kept trying to press the "end call" button and waiting a few minutes for the phone to stop buggin out. Not sure what causes this, but the last time it happened I had an issue with the phone just randomly going into airplane mode too.

I bought my phone last November, the week before Thanksgiving. In the time I've had it, I have had two times where, after a phone call, I could not get the phone to hang up.

Both times, I was leaving a voicemail message for somebody. It probably was only a problem because the VM system wouldn't hang up before me.

The first time it happened was before the CL14 update, the second time was after the update.

Both times I had to pull the battery to get the call to disconnect.

It hasn't been a regular occurrence, but, was an odd little quirk.
