Ladies with DROID?

I was at the VZW store the other day and saw a older woman, probably in her late 40's to early 50's, she came in and went straight to the DROID display and told the rep this is the phone she wants. I went over and showed her mine, gave her some pointers and she had a few questions which I answered for her since the rep didn't know squat. It was a good feeling and also gave me some hope that I can someday get my mother to start using the computer and maybe even a real smartphone (she has a AT&T Quickfire, I made the mistake of getting it for her bday).

Wow...Lots of women with Droids...

"How you dooinnnn" (In best Joey voice from Friends)...

Please hit me up on my MSN @ dm...LOL...Just kidding...

My brother's Ex-Wife wants one. She is on my plan (long story). I had the pleasure of telling her that she is not up for an upgrade until July 2010 :) (another long story, but I'm sure you get the picture at my pleasure doing this)...

Both my mother and I just got one. My Mom's 69 and I'm 39. I was switching from a WinMo phone (AT&T Tilt) and my Mom switched from a BB. Both of us are enjoying it immensely, and the level of customization available for it, plus its speedy performance, means I don't foresee a time anytime soon when I'll be bored with the thing.

Very excited to be a part of the Android movement.

I am another one. Got mine on the second day. Thought it would be amazing, but if this phone doesn't start stepping up to the plate, it's out the door! But like my mother always said, it's not the equipment, it's the operator....(thanks mom). I have several issues with it that I don't know if the phone just doesn't do the things that I need it to or if there's an app I'm suppose to download

1. It doesn't play animated grapics
2. It doesn't play videos that are forwarded to me
3. It doesn't bring up a contact list when I need to forward a message to more than one person.

Those are just a few that I can think of for now. If anyone can help me out, I would truly appreciate it. :)

1 & 2 will hopefully be solved when Droid gets Adobe Flash (next year?)

3 is something I've heard at another forum as well. Kinda sucks. (Still using my WM Saga)
