yeah because people who dont know their phones and aren't up to date with new technology are all idiots....

At the lake for the 4th of July I was taking pictures with it on the boat. One of my friends commented that he had never seen a digital camera with such a huge screen. Before I could explain, I got a call and answered it. While I was on the phone he was flipping out that someone called me on my camera.

After I got off the call I showed him some of the other things the EVO could do. For the rest of the day he was telling everyone to check out my camera that surfs the web, plays movies, has the world cup on it, has a kickstand, and takes phone calls.

Those who have asked me about my EVO, always ask "Is that the Droid X?" Then as usual I respond by saying no it’s the EVO. Then I always have to go into explaining the meaning behind the name "Droid" and how Motorola simply named their device after the Android Operating system and so on. Then the little Iphone fanboys who don’t know any better will ask, "Oh', then HTC copied the Droid X?".... I just laugh tell them no, then I start to do the Iphone vs. EVO thing....lol

It's amazing how much a catchy theme in a commercial stick with people..... "DDDRRROOOIIIIIDDDD" (MY ROBOT VOICE)...

Maybe we should have a commercial with some sort of Evil Robotic Devil voice that says "EEEEVVVVVOOOO". (My Devil Voice)... or maybe saying "EEEEVVVOOO, The phone the sissies can’t handle! HA HA HA HA!!!! (IN MY ROBOTIC DEVIL VOICE)...

I will own my evo sometime next week it looks like. Just ordered it, thanks to another thread here.

I hate windows! I love the Apple OS, and their machines. I love the slick commercials, I dont like how they over charge for everything and how they like to make you dislike your machine the next year! I could go on, but yes, Im a Apple fanboy who refuses to pay more on AT&T for less and pay for an iPhone or iPad when better things really are around the corner. Now, if Android starts getting virusis or is the next WinMo, I will own an iPhone 8 or whatever.

So im probably the best spokesman for Android vs iOS! Well, once I get one anyway.

Nobody is an idiot for calling my phone an iPhone or DroidX or anything, really. They're not as geek-assed as I am. I'm OK with that. I just correct them and if they're a friend, I give them the what's up on the phone. That's all.
