The first link in the original post is to the dev's page at XDA, where those questions are answered. ;)

[ROM][8/22] Nonsensikal v4.4 [Froyo|Black|Blue|Vanilla] - xda-developers

Also in that post is a list of developer's notes, the first of which addresses preparation for flashing.

thanks you...adrenalinerush112.....just looked a little small 60mb vs 110mb for EE3

thats because its not bogged down by all the "shit" in sense roms....and im not using that word as a stand in for "stuff"

sense is garbage in my opinion, i know a lot of people really like it, and i can see why but theres just so much junk included....uhg

i guess thats why EE3 was appealing to me...once i was rooted i was looking for something that ran well with a sense feel...now i think im ready to move on..thanks again

I'm happy with xtrSense but I love the look of the Black theme... is there any way to get that on my current ROM?

I've seen queries from users in forums wanting badly to change out the white notification bar on 2.2 ROMs to any other color.

I'm hoping that either the Nonsensikal dev or some other code freak can come in and show us how to take from the black or the blue versions of this ROM the portion that changes that bar color, or the whole theme, and apply it to other ROMs.. at least to other Froyo ROMs.

well if your only trying to change the status bar thats incredibly easy.

i have a VERY rough version of the theme from cyanogentazz-its also black and white based, i believe its called darkstar, but its untested and like i said...very rough. ill upload it if anyones interested

figured id upload it either way, its the darkstar theme off of cyanogentazz, and it looks pretty nice. untested, but it should work on any froyo rom, and possible on any rom in general..idk

this IS a metamorph theme though...dont flash it from recovery

I've been using this ROM and applied the tweaks that Lagos posted. I've been zooming along and with great battery life. Yes, SetCPU works. You can also use Autokiller. I believe that the ROM is automatically OC'ed to 710 mHz, but don't quote me on it.

If you decide to move from a 2.1 ROM to 2.2 and you have partitioned your SD card for Apps2SD, then you will need to backup your card and format it using Fat32. After format, you can move your backed up files back to the SD card.
