Samsung Behold

I just bought the Samsung Behold about 2 days ago. I like it but I really had my mind set on an Android powered device. The only reason I didn't get the G1 is because I didn't want to have pay an extra 30 dollars a month. Does anyone know of a way that I can install android on this mobile device? Preferably run android off and SD card. I don't think I can and if I can I'd probably still have to pay the extra money a month but I had to ask.

The Behold is a great phone, I love playing with it every chance I get. As far as installing Android to it; now it has not been done, however it may be possible in the future barring hardware inadequacies. A touch keyboard would have to be added to the OS as well, if you do not plan on creating your own.

You wouldn't really have to create your own touch keyboard for the android os because android is scheduled to be releasing a touch keyboard for the os in the first quarter of next year.

dude I don't care if I have to wait a little while. I mean you know how nice it'd be to have it now. But if someone is willing to make a way to get android onto the samsung behold I'd be the happiest person alive.

The Behold is a really pretty device and I convinced my friend to ask his wife for it for Christmas. I can't wait to play with it. Haha.

Yeah, it is just that. pretty. I want something pretty powerful and customizable! =)

well that is because it doesn't have the right firmware. It has all the hardware need to be a smartphone.
