My incredible just so happened to be thrown across the room the other day into my cabinet. this wasn't no weak throw either... I'm glad to say my baby came out working just as well as before the incident and with no dings/ scratches. Just thought i'd share it with you guys.

Sounds like you got lucky :) and it just happened to hit on an angle just right. I almost dropped my incredible yesterday; pulled it out my pocket and it slipped out of my hand but I was able to grab it thanks to my cat-like reflexes :D. I'm sure it had to look hilarious to anyone who might have seen it all happen (youtube video would have been great). I did have a case on it, but still glad I was able to grab it.

i hope i don't jinx myself by saying this, but i look like an absolute spaz when that happens to me. It happened maybe 2-3 times and every time i was leg kicked and twisting and screaming and always ended up catching it but god damn, i must have looked like a meth head doin the twist.

Well my luck is not that good. Last week I cracked the glass while it was in my pocket, for $89 assurion replaced it with a new one and today I was getting out of my car and it dropped and cracked. I guess I need to go back to the brick!
Anyone tried having one repaired at the HTC repair center?
Assurion will replace 2 a year, I break another one and I'm done

Dude. Don't use God's name in a profane way. That's not cool.
You have many other words available to get your point across.

Just my 0.2 cents.

My two cents, not everybody in this forum believes in god...

Perhaps not, that's something they will have to decide for themselves and live with the consequences, however, this IS supposed to be a public, family friendly forum, and that isn't acceptable behavior period. Perhaps expanding your vocabulary would help you in many more ways than having to use profanity and offending those of us that DO believe in God.

Anyway, off my soap box.

Check here for parts: HTC Droid Incredible Replacement Repair Parts

EDIT: And you can get the one with the cool HTC logo instead of the lame Verizon one.

This thread discussed the phone teardown and replacement of the screen: http://androidforums.com/incredible...droid-incredible-take-apart-repair-guide.html They have a link for parts too, but they're more expensive.

If you're mechanically inclined AT ALL, it's not as daunting of a task as it looks. I've not taken the phone apart, but I've taken several laptops apart and gotten them back together without any problem.

If you don't believe in God, then why would you use his name in vain? Kind of weird to invoke the name of a deity in whom you don't believe.
