signal boost ideas

need a cheap fix for boost at work only able to text and thats if I walk around my office to catch a signal.
some stips though:

• cannot hook up to our computers
• needs to be cheap
• I/T cannot find out
• must go through concrete and rebar

no I'm not housed in a jail but work in one

Not too much you can do. Signal booster devices require an antenna outside of the building, which is pretty obvious.

technically you could.....

concrete and rebar are only needed to house the criminals, if there were no criminals there would be no need for the signal blocking rebar and concrete, so in a round-about way its their fault.

Or you can just borrow one of their phones. They don't seem to have any problem ordering hits from inside.

you could sneak a zBoost and run some cable to a window... its kind of small, but its not that cheap, around $100 I believe. your just SOL.

I thought you guys get access to all kinds of stuff. I know the California cops jump on facebook while at work. lol (on company computers). No sure about your prison.

my office has no windows
dont deal with them too much as i have been here a while
while I chose to use my own phone for work rather then having two phones I cant justify being on it when im supposed to be working

there are these whack ass little stickers you can get that are supposed to boost signal. from what i have heard they are a bit of a scam though so i dont recommend it, but i figured id try and leave a constructive comment

Your only choice would be outside of the phone... using Proxy's on your computer at work.

there are tons, they all are not blocked. simple ones like, just google Proxy Site (and dont pick the first ones that show up. lol.

I will agree though that proxys work well once you find one that works.

Set one up at home if you can. Its unlikely that they block your home IP address. Just don't tell all your coworkers, or else the admins could get suspicious.
