Ok, so I've rooted a couple friends Incredibles. This morning I was rooting my mothers Incredible and I think I may have needed to wake up a bit more before hand anyways here is what's going down

I rooted with no problem , also installed Unrevoked Forever , updated the radio to 2.15 . Then went to load FrankenRom and hyrdakernal stock undervolted and this is where I really messed up I did a full Titanium Backup but complete forgot to do a Nandroid now I'm stuck in a horrible bootloop but I haven't seen this one before it's just going to the white "HTC Quietly Brillient " screen and then going black and back to that screen over and over again.

I don't know what to do lol, I don't want to have to be replacing this incredible today that will really put a damper on my bank account

Then just boot into recovery, connect to PC, mount USB storage (SD card) and re-download a ROM, put it on the SD card, then wipe cache, wipe data, and install zip from SD card. :)

You're the man. So what I did was I installed ThirdWave . Do you think that it was the ROM or the Kernal or a combination of both that cause the loop?

Bought ya a can of PBR also lol

Just put on King's #3. Seems really stable, except when I max OC it (1190) and open system panel it freezes. I rev'd it back down to 1130 Mhz and it seems stable again
It looks like 1150 is the freeze threshold. It's weird, some are running it very successfully like we are and some can't run it at all. There is definitely different hardware out there.

Or people that probably shouldn't be Overclocking/modding in the first place

I think voltages may just need to be worked out to find the right threshold for the processor. Could also be different batteries putting out fluctuating voltages (I'm on a Chinese eBay 2150 battery) Either way I'm really happy with 1130 and don't feel the need to push any further.

PS> Sorry to ninja your thread Jim, lol.. Hope you were able to reflash and solved your issues :D

I see no diffrence from 1.15 to 1.113 , it may show 40-50points higher in quadrant but I don't see much of a diffrence it's just bragging rights lol

When my profiles go to 798mhz when I'm under 30% battery left I still don't notice much of a performance diffrence when using my phone normally.

All I know is I'm never doing any flashing until I've been up for at least 4hrs lol

It's all good , I got everything running right. I'm going to install the stock undervolted kernal again I think I got a bad download for some reason .

Just trying to get my Mom more happy with her incredible battery life since she can't constantly be switching things on and off and tinkering like I do lol

But anyways , you're help was much appreciated and I got everything Kosher and running great . Her phone scored a 1320 on the stock Kernal which was very impressive in my mind lol

I agree, we just need to find the right combo. I was happy with stock speed and just bumped a bit. Now with the Eris that's a different story, that thing *needed* major bump, but then worked rather well.

Anyway, Jim is up and running so he probably doesn't care. (At least I hope so)

Edit: too slow on the draw.. Jim beat me to it.

Does it matter when you install the kernel? I rooted, forevered, installed 2.15 radio and then tried to install King #2 and got the boot-loop. I am wondering if I should have installed Skyraider and THEN the kernel?

The boot-loop thing bugged me, so I will just stick with what came with Skyraider 2.52.

I installed the ROM and then the Kernels (First King #1 and then #3)

Ohh god the Eris lol. That thing was almost unusable and everythign I tried to do to make it faster made it worse lol

I never got to root cause Ijumped on the Leaked 2.1, but a friend of mine is upgrading from his Eris (which has a shattered screen but works fine) and I'm offering him a 30pack of stones for it so I can tinker with another phone that doesn't matter if Ibrick it to learn more about android etc.. Plus I can use it as an extra charger, backup phone etc...

The Incredible almost doesn't even need to be tinkered with it with just a basic 2.2 rom is an amazing device

Well since this thread is formally hijacked by the OP, what the heck. I returned my leaked Eris early on and got a clean hboot one. I then gave it to my daughter right away since I pulled an upgrade from one of my 4 accounts and got the DI. My son had an Eris from the get go and never even accepted the OTA, stayed on 1.5!

To make a long story short, I got them both a DI last month and I now have 2 rooted Erises which I use to play around with and keep in case something happens to any of the 3 DI's we now have. They work acceptably with OC at around 768, although I find it harder and harder to turn them on these days.

As you say, the good ol' days of Frisco, Caddy and OTD.

Man your bill must be outrageous! Having so many accounts, but having phones that require internet access must cost you a small fortune!
I pay about $207 / month for 4 accounts with 1400 shared minutes. My wife uses an old LG so I escape that $30. It comes to $40 / month / person for my son and daughter, $10 / wife and the rest for me and my business. Not too bad considering what we are getting. We all have mini computers in our pockets with an OC one in mine.:)

PS. I get a 15% trade discount on the main line.
