Charging time....FAST!

Plugged into outlet it seems 1 hour gets it almost completely charged up from almost dead. 1.5 hours max.
Anyone else get this result? Seems fast to me.

Mine charges in about 1.5 hours from 10% to full

my charges super fast too. 1-1.5 tops. ill test it out now, i think i have less than 10%.

Mine took like 3 hours before I installed 2.2. Now its like 1:15. Ridiculously fast.

I get a full charge in about an hour and a half.

With the car charger I get a full charge in about two or three months.

The charger output is .85 amp. Thats alot for a cell phone!

I forgot to charge my phone one night so it was down to 60% in the morning, I put it on the charger when I woke up and it was full by the time I finished taking a shower. Yesterday I put it on the charger at 60%, got ready for bed (less then 10 minutes) and it was already back to 70%....I wanted to believe it was just in the high 60s when I put it on the charger, but it had been at 60% for the last couple hours.

Doesn't the media dock leave your screen on? One can understand that it would take longer.

It does leave the screen on....I tried the charger that came with the media dock by itself though and it still takes a decent amount of time longer than the one included with the phone. It seems like the one with the phone is a rapid charger where the the one with the media dock is not.

Using a normal 500ma or even a 700ma and it takes forever to charge, 2 - 3 hours.

Using the one it came with, it takes an hour

You could say that the Droid X is like a hot sports car and the charger is like...a supercharger.
