What is the Worst Show on TV

With all the talk about tv shows ruining children got me thinking what is the worst show on tv.

The shows could just be bad and un-entertaining or corrupt the very fabric of society, they can even be down right offensive. Just give the name and a reason.

My Vote is Jersey Shore, just plain stupid

Coming of Age.

This is a show on BBC3, the BBC's 'alternative alternative' channel (the normal alternative is BBC2 whereas BBC1 is more mainstream). BBC3 usually wants to 'showcase' brilliant new comedic talent. More often than not, it's just woefully bad. Coming of Age is one of these. It's seriously the worst programme I've ever seen. Never watched Jersey Shore but I bet Coming of Age makes that look like Frasier.

Coming of Age is a show about a group of teenagers who deal with typical teenage issues (I know, awful right?). It's terribly acted with an even worse script. It's full of dick jokes and other sexual references which I think are supposed to appeal to teenagers. It's more of an insult, really. Teenagers are stupid but this show is just embarrassing.

That said, I actually rather like watching it because of how bad it is. Even though The Inbetweeners is marginally better than Coming of Age, I prefer to watch the latter if I had to.

Reality tv and most programs/series from Disney/MTV.

They sometimes hit jackpot with progs like Ultimate Parkour Challenge, though they kinda screw it up again with freaking bad hosts, but the people doing the tricks are for real great.

Coming of Age.

I had the misfortune of watching this once. And 'Off the Hook'. BBC3 really needs to rethink their whole programming 'style' because its just god awful.

Most MTV shows are pretty terrible.. I watched an episode of "My Sweet Sixteen" (dont ask...) was pretty terrible....

That's a pretty damn good list. I have to admit, Jersey show is a bit like watching a train wreck. You know it's going to be awful, but you just can't stop yourself from watching. It always leaves me feeling sullied.

Agreed. I haven't watched MTV since The Real World was actually cool to watch (probably never was cool but I'm sure lots of people watched it way back when it was popular.. late 90s-early 2000s)

Same - (Jackass as well).

It's amazing how old the real world actually is. The show started in 1992.

I still check in every few years to see what's new only to tune out for a few more years. I peeked in recently to see what the Jersey shore was all about. before that I hadn't watched MTV for 4-5 years.

I do occasionally tune in to VH1 when they have one of their "I Love the ____" marathons. That show is pretty funny.

In Tv shows Some of the reality match-making shows I see late at night make it hard for me to hold down my food. I think the worst is something with this Daisy (?) chick that is so nasty and these equally trashy guys are clamoring for her.I've only watched it for 5-10 seconds or got caught when it started before flipping channels but I feel like I have to shower in acid afterward.

I can't stand much of any tv these days. Having to watch Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon with the step son has made me miss the cartoons of my child hood. Not only that, but I feel sorry for the kids coming through these days.

I wouldn't throw a blanket over all reality shows like that. Yes, most of them are awful (Jersey Shore, Big Brother, X Factor, America's/Britain's Got Talent etc).
But what about things like Masterchef, Dragons' Den, Who Do You Think You Are(genealogy series, I think it counts) and shows like that. They're still reality shows, and ones that actually have a purpose.

MTV worst of the worst, I've blocked it on my cable box and passworded so my girlfriends can't come over to watch it. I just tell her MTV isn't allowed in my home.

My ex liked this show called "Bad Girls Club." Everytime she'd come over she would turn on the tv and watch it..annoying...Bad Girls Club is my vote.

I hate game shows that say they are reality shows. Get a prize at the end? Game show. I'm looking at you Survivor.

Also, there is no reason most people should be famous. Kate Goslin, Kardashian, etc.
