Help Can the Droid play Google videos?

They do work as long as they were downloaded originally to youtube. If Im correct google does not host this video but uses other links to show the video that's why some videos work and other don't.
I didn't get the second sentence. Do you mean there's a link in google videos that allows us, Droid users, to be able to watch that same video in youtube??

When using Google videos they are not actual videos created or stored on Google. They come from another sources via links. When you select the video it links to another host. If the host is youtube then you can play it on the droid. In other words If the actual video was downloaded on youtube and the links get directed to youtube then when you select the video a box will pop up with options to play youtube. Hope it helps.

Oh, OK. I get ya. But on google video I've seen videos that are, I think, directly from there (at the bottom it says either "watch in youtube" or "watch in google video", etc.).

Anywhoo, the video I wanted to watch on the Droid is one from video.google, so I guess I can kiss it good-bye still, for now.

Thanks for the clear explanation.

i'm curious as to why, when I first got my Droid, i could view a video (non-youtube, via facebook) but now i'm no longer able to see that same video - i get the "flash 10.0 coming..." message.

is it that the flash version JUST changed to 10.0 or was there some preliminary acess I was allowed (and potentially woo-ed by) that has now expired and I can not utilize any flash content? kinda frustrating.

also, on a different note, i've had a number of little tweaky problems and wonder if there is a really thorough thread to discusse specific problems. the troubleshooting guide is very poor in the user's manual... as if there are NO problems...

I feel u. I have little problems here and there too. Some things suck and it's hard to get'em to work properly again... if they work again.
