I went through a bunch of screen protectors before finding the right one. I got this USB cable that just won't go in all the way. I'm done with trial and error.

Screen protectors, cables, chargers, whatever you use with your Captivate, list it all here so the rest of us know what works.

P.S. Headphones, TV cables, cases, FM transmitters, etc.

I currently have the Skinomi screen protector. So far so good, swype works well even with the screen protector. I also just bought the Droid X holster clip, I'll probably be returning that since the release mechanism on the holster clip is too easy to activate since the Captivate isn't as wide as the Droid X. The clip works, just not to my liking.

I've resued my Blackberry wall charger, at first the connector wasn't fitting so well, but 15 seconds and a razor blade...and everything is perfect. If there's any MicroUSB cable that's ill fitting, you just need to trim off a few mm from the plug's shoulder. I have a MicroUSB to USB cable from Blackberry that has the same issue, again...razor blade does the trick.

I'm going to stop by the AT&T store tonight and pick up the Body Glove case though, the added protection should be nice.

I bought a few micro usb cables from monoprice and used a dremel to trim about 2 mm off the back of the rubber part of the connector and they fit now.
I have tried Zagg Invisibleshield and didn't really like the grippyness of the screen protector and the rest of it is peeling off the last couple of days.
I bought a Phantomskinz screen protector and installed it the other day. It feels better but there are a lot of little bubbles or something underneath it. I'm hoping it clears up in the next couple of days.
I'm using a generic 12v to USB car adapter from monoprice that I use the original micro usb with to charge in the car.

This is almost my exact setup, I'm using the att screen protector though which is working great for me. It has a lil bit of rainbow but only when the screen is off, it swypes almost as nice as the naked glass.

I'm also using a trimmed down Blackberry charger and usb cable along with the 8gb card that came in my Storm hehe.

The body glove fits really nice and doesn't stick in your pocket at all, it still sticks to your hand like glue though and makes it hard to drop. Its also very easy to take on and off, I like it a lot.

I only got a 2GB MicroSD card from my Bold 9700, I'm using that in my Captivate right now, but I plan eventually to get a Class 6 card with a bit more space.

I might have to pick up a pack of the ATT screen protectors. With the Skinomi protectors, I get unlimited protectors for life (just pay shipping), but I've already kinda botched the first install. It's only been 3 hours since install, but it's buggin' me! I'm hoping to snag another Blackberry wall charger for the office too.

I've got 3 big bubbles under mine from dust but they are to the side of the viewable area so I'm just going to deal with it until this protector wears out. They only last a month or so at my job anyway lol.

When my girlfriend upgrades to the Captivate next month I'll probably give her my 8gb because it takes forever to transfer a movie over to class 2 lol.

That case looks awesome Drybones, more info?

Right now I have a Phantomskinz Screen Protector. I applied it very well the first time with no bubbles. It feels very nice and smooth, looks great under the sun, and is pretty strong. (This item is better than Invisibleshield) I have a body glove case that feels really nice and protects the phone VERY WELL with adding virtually no bulk to the phone. I have a pair of Altec Lansing headphones that work PERFECTLY and have great sound quality. I have an ordinary USB Charger (it is a dual one so I can charge my phone and a family member's phone at the same time) that I got for a whopping 2 dollars. It seems to get the job done faster than the OEM charger. I also had a leather case, but it won't fit with the Body Glove case :(

Monoprice (HDMI Cable, Home Theater Accessories, HDMI Products, Cables, Adapters, Video/Audio Switch, Networking, USB, Firewire, Printer Toner, and more!) usb cables, wall adapters and car adapter.

MrHit (MrHit.com - Premium Cell Phone accessories, Mounting and Bluetooth. Lifetime Warranty! We Carry Cynergy Design, Case-Mate, Krusell and others at the Best Price. Mr. Hit) soft shell skin case cover in black.

BodyGuardz (BodyGuardz Scratch-Proof Transparent Protective Skins for Mobile Devices | iPhone, iPod, iPad, Blackberry, Android, Skins, Covers, Screen Protectors, Protection, Cases, Shields | Cases, Screen Protectors, Covers, Shields, Skins, Films) Full skin - Perfect application the first time, I've had it on for about 3 or so weeks now and it looks just fine and there is no peeling. I did not put the cover on the back cover though, I read someone else thought that it would insulate and keep the heat in from the battery and it seemed like a legit reason to me.

Monster iCarPlay Cassette Adapter 800 (Amazon.com: Monster iCarPlay Cassette Adapter 800 for iPod and iPhone (3 feet): Electronics). Works just fine for me while in my old car.

Plantronics Voyager Pro Bluetooth Headset (Amazon.com: Plantronics Voyager Pro Bluetooth Headset: Cell Phones & Service). Comfortable and clear sounding, to me that is.

Transcend MicroSDHC Class 6 Flash Memory. (Amazon.com: Transcend 16 GB microSDHC Class 6 Flash Memory Card TS16GUSDHC6E: Electronics). Not the best nor the biggest, but I'm satisfied for the price.

Headphones - I really like the stock oem earbuds, generally I hate ear buds since they make my ears hurt like crazy but these feel fine in my ears and sound good, again imo. I also use Plantronics Pulsar 590A Bluetooth headset, these are the more traditional headphones, I tested them on a call and got a few complaints back. So now I use them to listen to audiobooks while doing housework, etc. lol They have a decent range on them and the sound quality is nice, the only downfall for me is that they make my ears really warm but we bought them for work and no one uses them so I'm using them for my own purposes.

I have some cheap micro USB cables that I have collected over the years..

bought a cheap class 2 16gb card from directron for 29.99 + tax/ship = 37.. not blaxing fast but great for transferring my audio podcasts.

for headphones, I scored a cazy deal on these - Amazon.com: Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10vi Noise Isolating Earphones w/ Microphone: Electronics last year for $99. Sound is fantastic.

I have a flexible rubber case from my iphone that i've been using. I just spun it so the top of the sleeve is at the bottom of the captivate. the sleeve's bottom cutout where the iphone's data cable fits through is a great size for the usb/headphone connectors.

I like it because I always carry my phone in my front pocket - I would hate to have a really bulky case.

It just burns me up to buy accessories at the AT&T/Sprint store. they are way overpriced - it's insane.

i purchased the martin fields screen protector from their website. took them a while to have one available for our phone. they are kinda pricey, but totally worth the cost. it doesnt even look like i have a screen protector on and the texture feels the same as the screen itself. martin fields ftw!

heres the link if u wanna check it out: http://www.martinfields.com/US/MFOP-SamCaptivate

seems very steep, the price is very high i could settle with just bringing the usb micro usb cord with me wherever i go :)

What other dock is there to buy though? And I doubt we will see a Samsung Galaxy S clock radio anytime soon. That's the ONE thing I miss about the iPhone...the ridiculous amount of accessory options available for it, and because most of them AREN'T made by money-grubbing Apple.

If the galaxy s phones turn out to be successful maybe we will see many more accessories , but the iphone has many more customers then the galaxy s phone i think

I got this case, so I could carry phone outside of pocket. Looks professional, holds phone securely, and the belt clip is beyond tight.

Cases & Holsters - Cell Phones | SAMSUNG=

The AT&T store actually had a deal on a their new power-saving charger:

AT&T ZERO Charger - USB Wall Charger - Cell Phone Accessories - Wireless from AT&T

So, I got one of those, and a cable (not that pleased with the cable), and a 3-pack of screen protectors.

Still looking for a reasonable set of bluetooth headphones. And that Samsung dock would be nice if it were available... I think the problem with the external accessory vendors is that there are too many phone options available in all different form factors. No one model phone (or size/shape)dominates the market like the iPhone does...:(

How are you likeing the Bluetooth Headset and are they worth getting ?

TIA.

I have no complaints. Sound is as good if not better than the earbuds included with the phone. Connects well and is nice and compact. I can leave my phone on the porch and go cut the grass.

Also for $10 after rebate you can't go wrong. Hell, you would spend that on another set of headphones without bluetooth. Sale ends august 31 so if your interested you had better order them!
