Hello,

i opened the memory card today of my milestone, and is a whole mess!

Various folders that i dont know if i should delete or not, and other file extensions that i dont know!

Does anyone else have this issue, or is it only my phone so untidy! :)

Basically i wanted to tide up my songs in order to find an easier way to create playlists on the phone and ended up trying to find a way to tide up all other folders! :)

I have the same problem. I would like to know if I need anything on the card (other than Avatar) because I want to reformat it, then start over.

Does anyone know if I need any of this stuff that is on the card?

Have done any backups from applications to your SD? If not, there is nothing in there that will not be re-generated. So if you want to re-format it in order to keep it clean, forget about it.

Ya tried the same as well after a few re-flashes and it ends up going back. How ever I was able to delete old app directories. I went on a rampage deleting directories and crashed my phone lol. Did a battery pull and it created them and booted.

ok thanks,

so basically we should leave the sd card as it is?

I never did an application backup or installed anything on the card.

Just maps and songs i think...

Leave it as it is. SD card on these phones serves as memory fo application data and thus whatever you do, if you have apps installed, the stuff on the card will reappear.
