Accessories Anyone upgrading the Micro SD?

I am curious if buying a 32g Micro SD to swap out immediately is the way to go - anyone planning on this, or have thoughts? Also, how do i insure that nothing gets lost in the swap?

I have a 32gb card in my EVO and for me it's worth it, but for some it may not be necessary. I needed the extra 16gb for work purposes, so I guess it's just a matter of a person's personal needs.

Since I also plan on getting the EPIC for one of the other lines on my account, I don't think the person that will be using the phone will need the added memory.

Regarding not losing anything on the swap, this is the procedure I'd recommend:
1) Connect phone to computer via USB connector and identify it as an external drive.
2) Copy all the contents of the 16gb card onto your computer (for backup)
3) Disconnect phone from USB, turn it off and remove the 16gb micro SD card.
4) Insert the 32gb microSD card, turn the phone on, and once it's fully on, connect the phone to the computer with the USB (while identifying the external drive)
5) Format the microSD card, through the computer.
6) Once you've finished formatting, copy and paste the backup files onto the card.

Hope that helps.

How much did you guys pay for the 32gb card?

Since there were so many people that were able to get in on the $50 verizon deal, a bunch of cards were on sale on ebay for the $99 that it eventually got bumped to. I ended up paying around $90 including shipping, so still a decent deal compared to everything out there. I just took a chance that it wasn't a fake card (w/ the 2 adaptors) repackaged into the Verizon retail package.

There may still be people selling that package on ebay, but if you're hesitant to find the legitimate Verizon package on ebay, verizon still has the 32gb card at 99.99 and it's free shipping if you order M-F before 430pm

I really don't see the point in investing in a 32gb class 2. Especially if we have higher class cards coming out soon.

i own a class 6 16gb and just recently purchased a class 2 32GB card, funny that i actually see an improvement in speed since i went 32gb. both in phone and transfering from computer to card using the same usb adapter

Interesting. I am really leaning towards just picking up a 32gb class 2. I miss having all my music and pictures on my device (iPhone convert).

Class speed will do nothing but write faster. It will not speed up your phone. Class 2 is good for cell phone. If you want to take faster photos, yeah it might be good to get a higher class card.
When 2.2 comes out programs/apps will be written and read on the storage card. In that instance I think class will come in to play. Therefor I'm debating on whether it's worth spending now to only upgrade later.
