The Icon thread

Ok, so I have been seeing a bunch of requests for black and red icon packs. Since we have a wallpaper thread, why not an icon thread? For any colors, shapes, whatever. Post your icons, or a link you your favorite icon pack be it on deviant art or an app in the market or anywhere else. Just follow common sense and give credit to the makers and please no links to material that should not be distributed on these forums.

Here are some apps that will allow you to change icons. If you PM me or post others here, I will try to keep up and add them.

BetterCut allows you to change icons
LauncherPro allows changing icons on its dock
There are numerous apps out there like Fake Chrome that will change one specific icon for a specific program

I also like this idea. I use a lot of icons from icons etc. but you have to run them through something like photoshop to get them to be an appropriate size. I still love to look for icons even though I think I am good where I am at.

i have a history of making icons and themes for ps3 but i never looked into it for android

How do you changes icons? I'd love my browser icon to be Chrome. I'd also love a launcher pro-esque version of the chrome icon too. my the twitter bird instead of the T, so on so forth.

EDIT: Also, dimensions, DPI etc etc for icons would be helpful in addition to where you put them on the phone.

Yeah. I'm currently scouring the net for android icon packs. I am using manup's text icons but would love to find some other options for text icons. I know I can easily make them but I am without a computer for a while and I'd have to hijack a friends for a while to make a good pack

I use launcher pro icons. It is a small cost in the market but new icons are often added.

you can use the icons from themes for adw in launcher pro .There are many in market , also better android themes
