Just wanted to do a quick case review of the Amzer Argyle case I just got in a few minutes ago....

Ugh. Congrats. I see your experience w/Amzer's been better than mine. I've been waiting for nearly 3 wks now for mine. I placed my order on 8/6. It's apparently been lost by USPS somewhere along the way. I spoke with customer service yesterday & they said they'd ship me another one. Problem is that customer service is apparently an Indian call center, & the guy either didn't understand me when I asked him to expedite my shipping or was a complete dick. Meanwhile, I've been case-less since I got the phone, save for my Invisible Shield (full coverage, but still, no drop/shock protection, rly).

Yea I concur that this is a great case. I also have the smoke grey argyle and my girlfriend has the blue argyle. Fits perfectly! Only thing bad I can say is that it can show smudges and looks like it can get a little grimmy. Not too bad though so far. We each also have a silicone one from Amzer and it's not as great becuase it adds MUCH more bulk.

I ordered it right from Amzer said it would take weeks but it came right away. I never had cases before but I feel it a necessity with the Camera Lens on the captivate being flush with the shell. No I can put it down and not worry about a scratch.

I just received my smoke grey argyle case from Amzer. Very snug fit and very slim. As you can see in the awesome pics jflexe99 shared the case wraps around the front of the phone, this raises and protects the screen if you happen to put your phone face-down.

Also, I don't know how many people this applies to but it certainly applied to me, I sometimes would accidentally hit the volume rocker while I was pushing the sleep button. This case helps prevent this as the buttons are covered and required ever-so-slight extra pressure to activate.

I love how you can easily see the Galaxy S logo through the case as well!

Anyway, for 15$ (shipping cost included) I think this case rocks. I ordered it on Sunday and I received it today (Thursday) and I chose the cheapest shipping, I'd say that's pretty good. *Side note - Amzer never sent me a tracking number but replied to my email requesting one within an hour* I don't have the body glove case so I can't compare but I can easily say this case is a great viable alternative and I definitely recommend it.

Buy it directly from Amzer! Amazon has 1-3 month wait!

Unfortunately this is the case I'm referring too. I ordered 2 silicone and 2 argyle at the same time. I know exactly what you mean about the pics. When I bought them the silicone pics looked very slim on the phone. But the current pics are correct with the bix X on the back. That's the part that adds the bulk. It's not Otterbox bulk, and my definition of bulk might be different than yours, but definitely more bulky than the argyle case. Now that I have my argyle case I will never use the silicone one. I was thinking about calling Amzer and requesting my money back or maybe free exchange for 2 different argyle ones as the pics were misleading. In fact if you look at the site the maroon red and the hot pink still have the old pics for some reason.

Also, for people that say that they ordered this argyle case in the beginning of August and are mad that they still haven't received it, per their site they just started shipping on 8/23. Granted I did receive mine already, so you might want to wait it out another day or 2 or call them. Also, you can check your order status on their site.

Thanks for posting the great pics. You made a sale, just put my order in. Case looks very nice and obviously doesn't add a lot of bulk. Hopefully it will still fit in my Nite Ize case (excellent durable belt case with best clip on the market... this thing does NOT come off my belt, ever).

So in the pics silicone is green left, argyle is blue on right. I personally have the smoke grey (same as OP) in argyle and decided to put a pic of my girlfriends blue and throw in her empty purple silicone all for color comparison. As you can see silicone is bulkier, though some might not mind it, I did. Also, not sure if you can tell, the silicone has this extra lip around screen which gets in your way when pressing the hard buttons. Not sure why I couldn't cut and paste these pics (I'm not too computer smart) so I had to attach them.

Thank you much for posting the pics.. I definatly like the fit of the Argyle one much better and that is what I thought I was getting when I ordered the solid ones from the pictures. Maybe I will have to return them if I ever get them and order the Argyle, just not sure how much I like the Argyle Pattern itself although in your pictures it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would.
