Root Overclocking Froyo X

So I've done plenty of searching and was wondering if there was a way to overclock 2.2 and keep it after reboot.

thats is the X's clock speed, I am not sure what you mean

You don't have to be overclocked to use SetCPU, just rooted.

I know. I was being somewhat sarcastic. He was wondering why it was showing his X running at 1 ghz. That is the speed of the X stock. So that just means setCPU is running properly. I dunno it made more sense and sounded funnier in my head.

I have had more success in decreasing the voltage, because the jump from 1 ghz to 1.1 ghz is not that noticeable speed wise but I think the decreased voltage has a apparent affect on battery life. But I can't wait till we can get Chevyno1 and P3Droid making us some custom kernels

I just wanna undervolt my CPU, lol.

Especially since Froyo already gets such good battery life...I went 10 hours off the charger today, heavy usage (~2hr w/ screen on), and only burned through 50%.

It'd only be sweeter w/ the CPU undervolted
