NEED FOR SPEED SHIFT (Ripped from Droid X)

Are you able to share your tweeked .apk with us fellow Desire owners please? :)

i used the directions here from a post on the xda forums. I did not bookmark it, but it came up in google that is how i found it. When i get home tonight, ill see if i can find the post. you have to take two apk files and place them on your phone, delete all the .mpg files, and the .dz file. you then install the file. THEN you take the .mpg files and .dz file and extract them to the directory file on your sd. its a pain in the as* only to see faint black, the outline of the city and the yellow marker lines in the road....

that said, it sounds like some of you have working what i have working. at the start of the game, you have to touch the upper right corner to get rid of the drivers hands...then you can at least see some of the screen, and makes it semi-playable.

The only people who will enjoy this are Droid, Droid X and Galaxy S users.

These are the only graphic chips that are worth a damn on android devices.

Talking out of your arse mate, I realize those phones have better GPX chips than the snapdragon, but i have this game playing on my desire flawlessly! & I'm not exaggerating, perfect frame rate.

Anyone who wants the copy i downloaded PM me.

I have it working on mine.
The file I am using is called NFS_Shift_Milestone_Droid_Galaxy_S
Obviously this is running on my Bell GAlaxy S.
The way it works is you install a small (less than 1 MB) file, then copy a folder to your Android/ Data folder.
If you do a google search for this "NFS_Shift_Milestone_Droid_Galaxy_S" you should find a link to the zip files.
Works EXCELLENT and it is as smooth as silk.

No.. you'll required a froyo on your device and have to execute one command through ADB.. then you can install it directly to SD card.

Hey Fabler: am running froyo, and i have installed the game on the phone storage as of now. Can you please tell me what to do next to transfer it to the SD card. The app2sd is not recognizing the file as a file to be transferred.

Please suggest, as its eating up a lot of space.
