Hello! I exchanged my Droid yesterday because the screen was getting loose. It would click like a BB Storm, and I could slide one side up a quarter inch before the other side started moving.
I think it happened because I used a snap-on case. I got the case because I'm a clutz and I drop stuff a lot. I dropped the phone and the snap-on case broke. The spot that broke was a clip that held the case onto the screen. My thoughts are that it tweaked the slider when it broke. Kind of ironic.. I got the case to protect it and (I think) it's what ended up breaking it.
Old was 39/09 IIRC and new is 44/09. The new one crashed the first day (acore crashed), but after a restart, it's been ok since.
Anyone else think the case may have caused it? I see a few other people having loose screens, wonder if they used a case?
