Hi, I'm new to the forums because I have just purchased the HTC Hero White. I don't have it yet, waiting for it to be delivered.

I would like to know some thing about the calendar, can you set appointments to reoccur in, say 6 days time or something like that?

Also is there a place to store PIN numbers for cards or passwords etc. I'm useless with numbers and often need to check my current phone's "code memo" as they call it. (i have the SE K850i)

One last question, can you save tasks and set alarms to them?

Sorry for all the questions!
:)

Calendar - yes, you have different options for repeating(but you cannot set-up a custom one, ie once in 3 days, but I believe you can search Market for that) them and different options for remind. Also you can synchronize it with your google or outlook calendar.

Pin numbers - yes, just search Market for "password" and it will show you different apps which store your pins/passwords securily. There are free and paid apps for that.

Tasks - what kind of tasks do you mean?

What I sorely miss, however, is the ability to have the ability to enter exceptions to recurrent appointments. I have numerous appointments that are repeated every week, EXCEPT in certain weeks (holidays and feast days). Calendar has no problems with recurrent appointments but cannot handle such exceptions. What it also cannot handle, unless I missed something, is termination dates for recurrent appointments. You have to go to the last date you want and then delete everything thereafter. Now that is silly!

Again, I may have missed something, but it is downright stupid not to have a copy and paste facility (in all applications, but especially in Calendar and People).

Talking about People: why can't I save Google entries to Phone entries?
