Help Won't download voicemail

my wifes EVO won't download voicemails, she has to call the voicemail and enter a pin to hear messages, it used to work fine before

sprint servers having visual voice mail issues it seems if I elave it alone it eventually downloads it

Mine was saying "cannot send voicemail until a data connection is established" last night, shut it off to charge overnight & it's fine this morning. )

unfortunately my wife isn't as patient as myself to use that solution she's ready to stick it down the garbage disposal, she's a hair stylist and really enjoyed the benefit of being able to select which message she wanted to listen to with the touch of her pinky while she was applying color or shampooing someone when it was working correctly. I tried to download the update but it would not let me, it told me to try again later, my EVO works great never had the issue and it automatically downloaded the update, I have the settings set the same for both phones.

finally got it to accept voicemail update, all is well again in EVO land
