Jittery video

I don't care how beautiful the screen is, the jittery video is driving me crazy. What's with the video? Is this a software problem or a hardware problem? I noticed the erratic stuttering problems when I was previewing through Avatar. The stuttering is never in the same places. How many of you have noticed the stuttering or jittery video? Has Samsung acknowledged the issue and do they have plans to fix it?

The video seems to hesitate or pause as if it skips a few frames and then has to catch up. The frames are not smooth. I've heard that this might be an issue with the newest software update.

it does this by itself when you press play, or when you are skipping around? what newest software update? I haven't heard of any new updates

When I look at video on the iPhone or the iPod Touch, or even the iPad, the video is buttery smooth, no jitter or stutter of any kind. When video runs from the Vibrant, there seems to be lots of micro hiccups and a few major frame drops from time to time. I read somewhere that this problem developed with the Galaxy S phones a while back with a software update. Now, I wouldn't know because I have never had a Galaxy S phone before the Vibrant. The screen is beautiful, but the video lag is hard to ignore. Doesn't anybody notice that the video is NOT smooth? There are numerous comments running around on the Internet regarding the video jitters. I was just hoping there might be a solution to it or that Samsung was aware of it and would fix it in an update.

So far mine will play anything in my 4TB library, buttery smooth. I haven't tried the 44GB bluray rip of Avatar yet, but I bet if I could, it would play it. Sounds like you need to take it back.

I have the same problem, I believe it is due to the speed of the memory card. look at your card and see if it says class 2? if it does buy a class 10 class 4 might work also

I use a mytouch 4g but try that
