Just recently my friends have been getting android phones and what not, and are showin m my moment up, one of my friends has the swype textin, another has live wallpaper, I have some of the decent apps such as open home, and I just found out about dolphin browswer but does the moment even have anything special? I feel embarrassed to even say I have this dull phone,.. can someone tell me some nice apps that are worth it? Such as customization ones?

Is there a tutorial or something how to root my phone? To be honest I have no idea about any of that, total noob... but I am interested, if yuo root your phone does it void your warranty? Could you just tell sprint you lost your phone and get a new one? lol

yeah, this. and there are a TON of sites with instructions. here is the one i used. i CANT be any simpler. the moment is about the easiest phone to root from what i have seen

use either joeykrim OR forcytos, there is no way to do both. that confused me at first because of the way it was worded. other than that, when you do as teh instructins say you will have root and then can explore the wonderful world of ROMs

Follow it exactly, and you'll have no problems.
I suggest writing down the steps and details as you watch the video.
Once you are rooted, the possibilities are endless.
And if you have a problem, you can simply reflash back to stock if you need to replace the phone.
