i have the feeling this isnt coming to Verizon, but to Tmobile. The rumors say they are getting the Desire HD and it will be known as myTouch HD. This might be it.

Could be the Desire HD (Android HD2), it certainly matches the specs and from the pics it matches those I have seen previously.......Due out in October.......

Initial specs are reported to be,

1ghz snapdragon
4.3 inch screen WVGA
Froyo
8mp camera (with front facing camera also) with face tracking and dual flash
Flash 10.1 support as well as DivX and 720p recording
mini HDMI out

I hope it is as I wanted an HD2 initially but then I saw the Supersonic and fell in love with it, but being in Blighty made it a no go.....So ended up with a Desire. IF this is the Desire HD then I may well be tempted......
