No super powers I use it normally. It got to 129 hours then I had to recharge it I was at 3% left.

If you use the screen for 1 to 1.5hours per day while doing data intensive activities and it lasts 6 days then YES your phone DOES have super powers because look at everyone elses stats, are they anywhere close to that? If your display is only 9% of your battery drain over that time period I doubt you were on it for 6-9 hours, I don't care what battery saving app or brightness setting you are on I flat out do not believe that.

Anyway! Thought I'd chime in with my usage today. Probably a typical day for me. (I work a 10hour shift)

10hours25mins since unplugged.

Overall Battery Left - 49%

Display.....54% USAGE 1h37mins

Cell Standby.....15% TIME ON 10h 15mins TIME without SIGNAL 23%

Phone Idle.....9% TIME ON 8h39mins

Android OS.....6% CPU Usage 23mins

Voice Calls.....5% TIME ON 2m19secs

MediaServer.....5% CPU usage 21m16secs

Android System.....3% CPU usage 12m48secs

Just got the phone yesterday. Used it before charging to get the phone to give me the recharge message. Charged it to 100% - removed the battery and put it back in - showed around 75-80% so charged it again.

Been 15 hours, battery is on 45% now. Used it for a few calls and texts, some gaming when my brother tried it out and 2-3 hours of surfing and installing stuff. Hopefully it keeps going and gets better!

Stats: [40% battery life]

Unplugged: 15h 47m
Display: 40%
Standby: 17%
Calls: 13%
Idle: 9%
Maps: 7%
GPS Test: 4%
Android System: 3%
Live wallpaper: 2%

Rest are small amounts.

Oh yeah, also, when people return their phones after experiencing bad battery life, and get a longer time period, is it just because the phone's drinking too much battery, or is there a problem with the battery itself? I mean, will buying a new battery fix my issue?

Download an app called Brightness level - Its a widget but you can set the brightness of the screen lower than what the menu settings allow (if you are using the stock rom)

I just received a replacement battery from AT&T as I have had overheating issues with the last couple of phones. .The battery I received today has a 6/29 date on it.. so I'm curious to see if the battery date has any adverse affects..(all other batteries I've had have been mid to late July dates)

Just got done charging it, so I will see overnight how much it drops and post the results. The last good captivate I had (my #2 phone) wouldn't drop more than 1% overnight..

New battery charged fully last night - pulled off the charger at 11PM- at 7AM it dropped 2%

So that being said, with the phone being standby/idle, I think that is decent battery life (for one night at least) Previous battery (the one that was also overheating) would drain about 4 or 5% overnight..

So 2% drain at 8 hours / 40 hours for 10%? 400 hours of standby? Although the phone doesn't idle all day long, so far the replacement battery is 100% better. I'm going to run the phone until it's dead today and completely cycle the battery for another charge tonight..and post results.

Yeah i think the first batch of phones came with bad batteries cause i would hardly use the phone at all and it would struggle to last two days. With my new battery replacement i can hit 3 days easily. currenty have 3day 20hrs with 7% left.
