lets see those speed test scores!!!

EDIT: 3G Numbers only, No WIFI connection speeds.

I just rooted my phone two days ago and I don't know if it had any effect on my speed test numbers. I know rooting it almost trippled my old quadrant scores after the lag fix. I wanna see if it has any effect on my download and upload numbers. Before I was getting no better than 4.8 mbps download and now today I'm getting 5.8 to 6.0 mbps. My upload stayed virtually the same.

I'd like to see whether your stock, rooted, overclocked, or what. Main reason I ask cause sometimes when Im browsing the we it seems like the lag fix was the best thing since sliced bread and other times it feels like I didn't even do anything.

Also, the Dev of the root lag fix bundle app updated today so...

You can get very different speed results depending on the test server you select.

I just got a 5200 using the closest server to my location, but then got a 8648 when I selected a server in a larger city that I know from past experience gives very good results. I'm using wifi with a G connection. If I had N it would likely be much better.

My upload speed is throttled by my ISP, but I'm getting the same speed, or even a little higher, on my phone than I do from my desktop PC.

(I'm not rooted, so no lag fix or custom ROM)

I was under the impression you wanted 3g results. People are posting wifi scores.

Hey new to the community and also to the android family, i ran speedtest .net on my vibrant its a stock 2.1 no mods what so ever and i took ten tests in each place, @ home my download avrg speed is 5.98 mbps and upload is 1.6 mbps @ work [i work in a hospital where i have normally 2 to 3 bars, my dwl avrg speed is 788 kbps and upload is 128 kbps, at the beach where supposably the H+ is available is an avr of 3.11 mbps for down and up is 1.62, needless to say the H+ symbol never showed up it was on 3g when i ran the test still waiting for the H+.

btw my location is jacksonville fl, and i noticed my up speed is virtually the same all the time. I'd show you pictures but like i said im a noob to the android world that just came from the iphone band wagon.... and I LOVE the vibrant with the android os, I would recommend to anyone who is in the market of buying,

How did you get the compact version of the speedtest app? I like!

@Android Amature

After you run the speed test, hit the results tab, then press menu, then email the result. Choose whatever method you want and the result will generate the rectangular version of the test, probably in png format. There may be another way, but that's how I do it.
