Im going on a cruise and I dont want to rack up hundreds of dollars in charges from sprint, I was wondering what I should do so I can just use wifi? I was thinking going to mobile network settings and unchecking data roaming and under roaming change it to sprint only, would that work? or just checking airplane mode and enabling wifi? what do you guys suggest?

Cool about the cruise...I just got back from one in late July.
I ran in "airplane mode". Uncheck "mobile network" and you won't get data until you connect via WiFi.

On Carnival, I believe I got an hour of WiFi use for $30. That allowed me to check email and quickly read the daily news headlines.

Worked like a charm. My kids kept me so busy that on a 7 day cruise an hour is about all I time for anyway!

Have Fun!

Wow...forget that shit, the world can end and I'll wait till I get home to hear about it before paying that much money for wifi!

To each their own man.

When you have a business to run, 5 minutes a day can mean a lot, returning emails or accepting a bid.

Also, if you can afford a cruise, maybe theirs a reason and $30 is pocket change.

Just a thought...
