ok thanks for the info.

is there a list of what services are in the gapps zip?

is there a way to install an apk using the terminal that cn6 came with?

Gapps stands for Google apps, so everything Google relates will come there.

No. For that u need File Manager/Installer. Astro will do the job is in the Market

ya i was going with that snap 8.1

gotta look up an install guild for it now. is it hard?

Same as flashing a ROM,but instead of wiping everything u only wipe cache,dalvik-cache and the flash the Kernel. I suggest u start with a not so UV snap to get ur phone going. My phone loves UV Kernels as of now my floor voltage is 825mv but not all phones react the same. Before u flash the Kernel do a nand backup of ur current ROM just in case the Kernel u go with does not work for u can go back to ur current state.

woah woah you lost me, so what is a UV? also i read that snap 8.1 was supposed to be the best to go along with cm6, what other kernal would you recommend?

id like one that gives me the most battery life i can squeeze out of my evo

UV means under voltage u can read more about CM6 Kernels here.[Kernel] CM6-Snapv8.1 [U-UV/OC/nHAVS] Available Now! New SNAPpapers App! - xda-developers if the floor voltage on the Kernel is to low like what I'm running 825mv ur phone will go into an endless bootlop, random reboots and your phone will be so unstable that u barely will be able to use it.
