Here's a good app to find dead pixels. I found two that I hadn't noticed and probably never would have: one red in the upper left corner and one blue in the middle right. Dead Pixel Detect - Android app on AppBrain
I believe that the dead pixels are fixed with the Froyo upgrade that will be coming very early in September. But really though... if you have dead pixels, I recommend talking to Verizon about it and seeing if you can get a replacement.
I have one pixel that's stuck on blue and is only noticeable when the screen is all black. It's sort of down in one of the corners though so I'm living with it.
I had one smack-dab in the middle of my screen, a white one. I just got a replacement though, absolutely no dead pixels. I can't stand knowing there's an imperfection
I get the same problem when using Vignette for camera functions. I get a red and a blue stuck pixel. just in that program though. hoping it goes away with froyo.
This is a well known bug that was introduced with the firmware update that was released shortly after the Droid X came out. If you get stuck pixels in the camera or video app and nowhere else, there is nothing wrong with your phone and the update that is coming out in a few days will fix it.
I don't see any and really don't want to know if there are any. If I know, it WILL bother me.
Some things are better off left alone .
I can see testing to replace a phone but if I SEE no problems, well then there are no problems
