I like the stock browser but I'm experimenting with Opera right now, at first impression I'm not too keen, it's fast but feels half finished and a lot of pages don't seem to load properly.
I've heard mixed but mainly positive things about Dolphin and will be trying that after a week or so on Opera.

I was happy with the stock browser all along and needed the space for other apps, but since upgrading to Froyo I've switched to Dolphin HD since it can be moved to SD.

I'm a loyal Opera-for-desktop user but Opera Mini doesn't do it for me anymore. Oh and I tried out the Fennec alpha, but it doesn't seem to work properly at all yet.

I couldn't even get it to bring up the keyboard. Looking forward to the Beta though. Hmmm Bookmark Sync

stock for me. out of the others I really like xScope, but not as much as the stock one.

While we're on the subject, I just want to as something that may seem stoopid.

right, when I open (for example) this forum and read a thread, all the writing fits perfectly in the screen so I can read it. What do I call this? And also, does this not happen on the iphone? When I see friends open a site, it's always in 'overview'.

I think it's called text reflow.

There is a tick-box in the browser settings to open pages in overview if you want to. Personally I think it's better not to do that.
