My head is spinning from watching youtube videos, reading posts/reviews on here etc. I feel behind the curve on this, so forgive my topic as I know it comes up often.

I currently am using the $15 rubber snug case from the Sprint store with my Evo. I had the same thing with my blackberry and it worked fine, however I am aware that Seidio etc. offer far better options. I very seldom (if ever) drop my phone (jinx), and it stays in my pocket the vast majority of the time.

I am looking for a case that offers more protection than just the phone itself, but something that adds minimal bulk to the phone. For those of you deep in the accessories market, whats the best current offerings in this realm?

Many thanks!

I'm a big fan of the TPU cases that can be found on ebay. My favorite is the clear argyle print tpu. Some if the others wrap slightly around the front of the phone and I don't like that as much. The argyle print TPU cases can be had on ebay for $8 shipped.

By the way, TPU is a hybrid between a silicone and a hard plastic. Videos showing them can be found on youtube.

These are the "thinnest" cases I've seen on the market (For reference, I started with a Seidio, tried 2 TPU cases, then tried the gizmo dorks one which was the thinnest of all of the ones I tried).

They have different colors of this case.
Amazon.com: Gizmo Dorks Rubberized Case Cover (Black) for the Sprint HTC EVO 4G: Cell Phones & Service

I think this one is the thinnest and gives better protection for the camera lens
Case-Mate HTC EVO 4G Barely There Cases (Case-Mate HTCEVO-BT), HTC EVO 4G Cases, Covers, Skins by Case-mate

All-in-all, I personally found all cases to be too thick for my tastes, so I just went back to having no case. Even having a pocket holder bothered me...LOL.

Keep in mind that for the two cases I posted, they don't really protect the top or bottom of the phone.

Thanks bud. I found the Barely There one and got pretty excited...but naturally they are out of stock and their reply email was that they had no idea when they would have more. Solid post though, thank you.
